A place that understands the special needs of adopted people.

I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and program at Three Points Center. Our family has been through many different types of counseling and programs over the years to address the special needs of our adopted children and still found ourselves going through some extremely difficult times with our teen daughter because those programs failed to accurately and appropriately address the core issues that are common in most adopted kids who struggle in their lives. The program at Three Points is unique, effective and gives us hope for the first time in a very long time that our daughter can have a successful, healthy life. The staff - they are amazing. Unlike "similar" programs, Three Points has an OPEN DOOR POLICY for families and strongly encourages visits between parents, siblings, extended family and the students. I have spent MANY hours at the center, and have not only enjoyed my own interactions with the staff, but I have witnessed the deep level of trust and affection that the students have for all of the staff members. The staff treats everyone with the utmost respect and kindness which builds trust and creates a solid foundation for life-changing therapy - therapy that is based on the best research available on helping adopted people face their struggles. My teen daughter was leery when we discussed her attending TPC because she thought it would be like another program she'd been in, or others she'd heard about from friends. Now that she has been there more than four months, not only has she made significant progress in resolving the issues that were causing her so much pain in her life, but she has developed deep bonds with all of the staff, but especially with her therapist, the founder of TPC, Dr. Norm Thibault. And from what I've seen during my visits, as well as in my phone conversations with Norm and during our weekly video family therapy sessions, it is easy to see why she is thriving, healing and is actually enjoying her time there. Norm is a man with a loving, kind heart committed to making a positive difference in the life of the "adults in training" who come to the center, and for their entire families. TPC is truly the answer to years of prayer for our family.
